THE ONLY WAY OUT! . . . .

AM I PREPARED TO CONTINUE IN MY PRESENT STATE? Do I really want to stay as I am? Am I walking with JESUS moment by moment? You have to CHALLENGE YOUR HEART and be really hungry for a new LIFE, REVIVAL, in your home... to take the necessary steps.

THE FIRST STEP IS TO CALL SIN, SIN (YOUR sin, not the other person's) and go with it to the Cross, and trust JESUS to cleanse you from it. Then the HOLY SPIRIT will fill us with longsuffering and the very nature (love) of JESUS. This can happen every time the beginnings of sin and unlove creep in... for the cleansing fountain of Blood is available.

WE MUST YIELD OUR RIGHTS and see that the thing in us that reacts so sharply to another's selfishness and pride is simply our own... which we are unwilling to sacrifice. We shall have to accept another's ways and doings as God's will for us and meekly bend our neck to God's divine direction and care. We don't accept another's selfishness as God's will for him... far from it. But God will probably want to use our brokenness to help him see his need.

WHEN WE HAVE BEEN BROKEN AT CALVARY we must be willing to put things right with others... sometimes even with our children. This is the test of our brokenness... which is opposite of hardness. Hardness says "It's your fault!" We cannot say, "I was wrong, but you were wrong too. You must come to the Cross as well!" NO, you must go alone, saying, "I'M WRONG." God will work in the other more through your brokenness than through anything else you can do or say. We may have to wait a long time. But so did JESUS have to wait for us, although there was no wrong on His side.

SIN IS THE ONLY THING we have in common with everyone else, and so at the feet of JESUS, where sin is cleansed, is the only place where we can be really one.

"ALL HAVE SINNED AND FALL SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD." (Romans 3:23).
