The Ministry
The Morningstar Fellowship program has three
basic areas of ministry.
Each process of ministry can not work properly without the other.
First,
each person must deal with their past... in order to live in the "now"
and
be free. Second, they must have teaching to understand and
learn how
to live with themselves and others... and change their problems. Third,
they need to take what they have learned and begin to establish new patterns.
The work programs begin to deal with this area of their lives.
- Personal Ministry:
- Dealing with the past... finding and healing
the roots of: rejection... rebellion... guilt... loneliness... behavior
problems... damaged emotions... and spiritual distress.
- Dynamic Teaching:
- Life-changing teaching on prayer...
relationships... changing behavior patterns. How to deal with:
hurt... bitterness... and resentment. Also, teaching of Biblical
principles and counseling skills.
- Practical Application:
- "Knowledge will not do any good if it
sits
in their head and never reaches their heart." They begin by working
out the old patterns through applying the teaching to their everyday
living with: discipline, personal discipleship, and in making restitution.
This deep caring for the personal welfare of people
is the basis of
Morningstar Fellowship's commitment.
