Send a Child to Hawaii - Overview

 Our "Island Impact" (Send a Child to Hawaii) program encourages individuals, families, schools, groups, and churches, etc. to "sponsor" a child or children (ages 8 to 18), sending them to our "Aloha" center in Hawaii. This four-day paradise experience will strengthen the young person's sense of belonging, responsibility, caring and introduce them to the "HIGH IMPACT" program.

 The young person arriving in paradise may bring with him or her an uncertainty about their future... produced by problems they see in the kids around them, at school, in the home, and on the news... problems not unique to any town or society.

 The "HIGH IMPACT" program is to bring about a deliberate change in the perspective and attitude of the young person, developing an understanding of hope... a hope that lies beyond current conditions, current fears; a real, living hope that demonstrates that caring people "are" the difference. "Island Impact" isn't just a vacation spot with a yacht in Hawaii, but a demonstration of the power of loving ,caring people - across the nation, in their own town, their own home, their own heart.
