I sure am glad that I met you when I did. The time I spent living and working aboard the "Astor" changed my whole outlook on life. I was only thinking of myself, getting my music together. I was building myself up into somebody "important", and had a lot of pride.

The time I spent living and working aboard the "Astor" changed Red, When I came to ask you if you could help me get my album produced, you got right into my head, and my heart, and asked me what my motives were for being a musician. It started me thinking about my life and I realized the selfishness in it. I was blown away by the fact that you had so many connections in the business, yet you gave it all up and chose to serve the Lord this way instead.
Praying with you and committing my life to Jesus was the best thing that ever happened to me. Then, with the disciplining I went through with you on the boat, I really learned how to seek the Lord and His will for my life. I was freed from a lot of sins that had a hold of me.
I love the church I'm in now; Sometimes I even play my guitar for the praise and worship time. It is so rewarding. I love you all there and miss the times.
